Grants Program
Do you have a storytelling project that needs funding?
Through NSN’s Member Grants program, funding up to $1000 is available for the development of individual work, for collaborative projects, for community-based storytelling programs, or for scholarly research.
The Brimstone Award for Applied Storytelling provides up to $5000 to support model storytelling projects that are service-oriented, based in a community or organization, and to some extent replicable in other places and situations.
The J.J. Reneaux Fund awards the Emerging Artist Grant and the Mentorship Grant.
The Sponsored Member Program greatly expands our members’ ability to raise funds from foundations, corporations, and individual donors for their storytelling projects.
Each October NSN’s National Story Night Concert raises money for our grants program. We gladly receive individual donations to our grants program at any time during the year.
